"When you're busy, on the move, all of the time your private banking needs to be effortless. Carole and I never stop, our life is very active and we are always out and about and travel a lot. We had used a private bank for a number of years, the service they provide is very good but they are a little remote and can be quite expensive.
Handelsbanken became our corporate bankers in 2014, and we have been impressed not just by their quality of service but the more traditional and local approach they adopt with clients.
A few months ago we inquired about their private banking offer, we were looking for something that gave no less a service than our previous bank but perhaps brought in addition that traditional personal touch - much as we have experienced in our corporate banking.
We recently made the decision to switch, the transition was very smooth, Julie and her team dealt with everything. The online service is easy to use and very accessible on the go - both in the UK and when overseas. Telephone access and face to face contact is quick and refreshing and the package is competitively priced.
