"We are an established group of manufacturing companies based in the South of England with over 40 years experience behind us. When we considered changing banks it seemed like a considerable task to take on. After a lot of research we approached Handelsbanken for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are considered by Bloomberg to be one of the top ten strongest banks in the world. Secondly we liked their approach which was to focus on their core business of banking. In addition they were able to accommodate both personal and corporate banking facilities at a local level.

"After a number of face to face meetings with a local corporate manager we were even happier to consider the move. A plan and timetable was agreed between us. This involved moving five entities accounts along with foreign currency accounts, setting up online banking, and transferring all the related things like direct debits, standing orders, cheque books etc. We have now completed the process which has taken a steady four months; there were internal reasons for us to go at this pace. I can now look back and be completely satisfied with the transfer to Handelsbanken. The whole process has gone rather smoothly for all concerned. I would award 10/10 for all the help we have had from our local Corporate Manager. Nothing was ever too complicated or too simple for her to explain and she managed the whole task with professionalism and helpfulness at all stages.
