"Handelsbanken has operated here in South Lakes and Lancaster since June 2010.

Our bank serves the needs of both business and personal customers and offers a full range of banking services for savers and borrowers.

Our business model is based upon simplicity, availability and providing the highest level of personal service. Done well, we hope this leads to a satisfied customer and a long lasting relationship.

In Handelsbanken, we have no sales targets and we do not receive bonuses - therefore nothing distracts us from doing what is right by the customer, the essence of Handelsbanken.

The vast majority of all lending decisions are made at the branch, which allows us to respond quickly to borrowing requests. Our customers benefit from direct access to their account managers who are all experienced professionals with a high level of local knowledge.
